Omens
So I hope that the way the day has gone so far does not portent anything for the weekend.
1. Finished packing for the weekend this morning then couldn't find the car keys to put said packing in the car.
2. Couldn't find car/house keys. Frantic search took 45 minutes
3. Grimm did not want to sit and stay so I could put his harness on him to take him out so he could go spend the day with Brother Darcy and Momma Katie and Momma Dicea.
4. Asshat drivers on road to the Girls' resulted in several panic attacks (as in thank god for psychic brakes)
5. Office next to work got a power disconnect and NYSEG disconnected their power AND ours. Took 1 hour to get ours back up. This is not good for as we are a TV station. May mean I can't leave as early as I wanted to today due to me being the one who takes the Tapes of our programs for the satelitte uplink.
6. Boss is sick and cranky and can't think straight so forgets he's asked me to do something 12 times already and which I have already done and quadruple checked resulting in me trying to not get snippy with him. (of which I am only mildly succeeding due to the fact that I should be visited by my "friend" any minute now. Luckily he finally gave up and has gone home)
Upsides:
*After 2:30 I'm the only one in the front office as office mate leaves for business trip then, boss has already gone home and ad person called in today.
*I'm nowhere near as nauseous as I have been for the last several days (I really hate my form of PMS)
*Looking forward to seeing all my friends and family this weekend.
