(no subject)

Crochet project is done. Well the one I've been busting on since just before Thanksgiving is anyway. Pictures will happen after Christmas. It is a present after all.

The last of the gifts I have are wrapped and either bagged to go to folks or under the tree. (Save one that is for the dog and I don't want him getting into it until Christmas - What? You don't wrap the presents for your pets?)

I need to figure out holiday baking. I want to make up a couple batches of cookies at least so that I can take some to the folks who work at the Nursing Home that Grimm and I go to.

Still not sure about Sis's arrival tomorrow. They are calling for a storm with significant accumulation along the east coast. I had to giggle when she sent me the weather report as for her area (Rockville, MD) they were saying the accumulation would be upwards of 5 inches. For us here in Buffalo we just shrug and go about our merry way with only 5 inches. (Unless it's 5 inches over only a couple hours).

Tonight I need to see what the girls plan and then go from there. Laundry is in progress now that I have the necessary supplies again. Dishes need to be done and general cleaning before Sis arrives.

But first - have to get through the work day.

Looks like sis won't be in until Sunday at the earliest. Her back decided to go out the day that would be best to hit the road before the snow storm predicted to hit the DC area.

I'm actually thinking Monday might be a more likely arrival for her given what they are predicting for her area, but we shall see.

Have to call my Aunt and Uncle and see if they can come out the Sunday after Christmas for family holiday.

Tonight is calling hours for the father of a Scadian acquaintance. Way too many these past 6 months. Hell these past two years. Tomorrow I need to see about getting a hair cut.

Tonight is family dinner with the girls too and get them the gifts to take with them for that side of the family.
