GRE 2009 #5
Monday I tried a new recipe for the great experiment.
From: http://www.kraftfoods.com/kf/recipes/taco-pork-skillet-89337.aspx
What You Need
2 Tbsp. KRAFT Light Zesty Italian Dressing
1 lb. pork tenderloin, cut into strips
1 env. TACO BELLĀ® HOME ORIGINALSĀ® Taco Seasoning Mix, divided
1 cup each: red and green pepper strips and zucchini slices
2 cups instant brown rice, uncooked
1-3/4 cups water
1/2 cup KRAFT 2% Milk Cheddar Cheese
Make It
HEAT dressing in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add pork; sprinkle with half of the seasoning mix. Stir-fry 2 min.
ADD vegetables, rice, water and remaining seasoning mix; mix well.
BRING mixture to boil. Reduce heat to medium; cover. Simmer 5 min. Sprinkle with cheese; cover. Let stand 5 min.
I did not use the brands they said but that did not matter any. And I only used green peppers as I do not care for red peppers or zucchini.
Over all: YUM!!! This is a definite keeper.
Rating: 4.8
