That kind of evening
I opted not to go grocery shopping today while I was out running other errands. I figured I would just get up early in the morning and go do it before I dedicate the day to dealing with sorting fabirc and garb pieces for pennsic.
I pulled out ground chicken from the freezer figuring on making some hamburger helper. Not the healthiest dinner but better than other options. I get the chicken frozen and browned. Go to make the hamburger helper and discover - I need milk. No milk that's ok for consuming in the house.
So I start searching. I already used up the spaghetti sauce I had earler in the week. If I had read the box before I browned the chicken I would have had more options.
So I'm settling for beanless chili as I have no beans in the house but I did have a can of diced tomatos and some chili seasoning.
I think it's going to be a watch stupid tv and cuddle with puppies evening rather than doing anything productive.
Oh did I mention I have both chihuahua's this weekend? They are so very 6 year old boys (in reality they are almost 2). One minute they are best buds, the next moment tearing each other's throats out.
