Funk!
Today, instead of the piles of things I need to do for Pennsic, Dicea and I took a night off and went to the free George Clinton and P-Funk concert that was being held downtown as part of Thursday in the Square series.
The crowd dynamics was really interesting. But dude - we got an awesome place to stand. Right by the backstage gate so we could see all the performers from behind stage (the only difference between where we stood and backstage was a small railing). We were less than 3 feet from GC himself at times.
IT was a blast and I'm glad we took the down time to go. Hopefully Dicea posts pictures that she and I took.
