The really pretty mug from Ash and Griffin with the Pelican on it that Andrew and Ali gave me for my elevation...

apparently not so much for hot water. Well the hot water coming out of our water cooler was apparently too hot for it and when I poured in the water to make tea this morning in my pretty new mug... CRACK.

Now unusable as a mug.

Grump

I don't believe absolutes! :) Ceramic, yes? I know of an epoxy that should fix that in no time.. I'll look for the brand name.

If you glued it, as Hearne suggests, then maybe you could put something (like another vessel - plastic?) inside. Might not work for hot, but might be fine for cold!

yes, epoxy is your friend, and depending upon what kind of plastic, or other material used for liner, it'll be good for hot or cold.

It may be useless as a drinking mug but perfect to put pens, pencils, scissors and other supplies in at your desk. It's always there and the crack doesn't matter.
