Let there be light!

After consultation with

2bluefish it was determined that I had purchased the wrong kind of light switch for the stairwell.

So back to home despot, found someone there in an orange apron with a clue and picked up a new switch.

Replaced it this morning and YES! no more tripping on the stairs on my way to bed.
