I know I say it all the time

Every time I mop the kitchen and front hall I wonder the same thing.

What sick F*&K in the late 60's/early 70's thought that textured cream linoleum was the best thing in the world to put in a kitchen and mail hallway.

it was just the thing to serve boons farm and frozen canpees in your double knit granny length hostess gown.

*screams* I don't know, but I'm afflicted with it too. Hideous stuff and it never looks clean!

But then I also remember the "Home Decorating Party" franchise of the 70s. Like Tupperware, but with hideous home accessories in that uniquely 70s definition of hideous.

Next time you come over, you can scrub and wax the hardwood floor in my dining room and think about how you'd like to maintain that kind of flooring in a kitchen.

There really are worse options, and at least you didn't pay to have your flooring installed before you discovered how much you hate it.

I'm so proud of all of the hard work you've put into your house this week, love. You're doing great.
