So can't focus on work now.

Got a call and ended up talking with the Lt. at the OP PD to get clarification on one of the points in my statement that I gave in February. Honestly, I'm surprised they took this long to get clarification on that but still.

And having to fight off the defensive feeling when asked to explain why that point did not send any red flags up for me at the time.

*sigh*

Oh I know it's not my fault. And once I explained the events leading up to the point the Lt understood why to me there was nothing that seemed out of the ordinary and that it was only in hindsight of the event did that particular little point in time seem odd, and when I remembered that point, I had brought it to the police's attention.

Umm, because people acting oddly make you think "gee, X is acting oddly", not "gee, x is acting oddly, wonder if he's about to attack his wife".
Poor you, I'm sure you want to put that whole thing as far out of mind as you can.
