eh

It's amazing how much your sense of perception changes when you get new glasses. The eye doc said it's not much of a change, but I'm not buying it. First, I can see clearly for a larger distance than I did before. this is cool because now I dont' have to be practically on top of the road sign before I can read it.

But this makes it interesting with my general depth perception. and the glasses themselves are small in width than my old pair so my periferal vision isn't what it was. this means I've had a slightly fuzzy feeling all day. On top of the cold/plague it's proven to be rather disorienting.

I totally blew my points for today. One of the women at work's son was selling tickets for the spaghetti dinner to raise money for his basketball team. I bought the ticket before I started the weight loss. So I went over my daily points by 8 points. But that's what the flex points are for. and yesterday i was under my daily points so I guess that helps to even it out in the end.

On a side note... [livejournal.com profile] meirwen did I leave my slippers at the house after Caer chirstmas? Pair of grey bootie ones? I can't find them and I know I had them at the house.

It's getting time for more cold meds. I think I'm going to curl up in bed with the kitty cats and book 9 of the Series of Unfortunate Events and watch CSI.

it is amazing what a little tweak to your eye perscription can do... that happened to me ahwile ago... once they tweaked 1 eye... then everything was so clear... weird but cool! = )
