something different
So last week, while wasting time on Pintrest, I noticed one of my friends pinning things about something called a "Munzee".
Curious, and at the time, having nothing better to do, I went and googled it.
Turns out it is a worldwide QRC scavenger hunt. It's free so I figured "what the hell" and signed up for it.
Yesterday, I had too much weird brain thinking space going on that I really didn't want to go for a walk on a treadmill and not actually go anywhere. So I went home, grabbed Grimm and we checked out the one bike path near my house, where the website (http://www.munzee.com/?home)
said there were a bunch of hidden munzees.
We did 2 miles in an hour. Which is slower than I'm used to on the treadmill (I usually set it for 3.1 mph) or that he and I usually do together (around 2.5 mph), but we got out, we walked and I found a whole bunch of little munzees.
I may add "munzee hunting" into a bit of rotation for our walks. There looks to be a ton in the park not to far from me and along the river. Wonder if I can convince anyone local to go with me to hunt for them sometime.
I'm also thinking that maybe I can do some hunting while I'm sightseeing in Vegas in June.
