(no subject)

Seasons are marked for me by the changing of the Eeyores. I keep one if not two little stuffed eeyores on my desk at work. (for anyone who has not clued in yet, I adore Eeyore. I collect him to the point of obscession.

Anyway, for the winter I had a little eeyore wearing earmuffs and holding a stuffed polar bear and a snow eeyore on my desk. I looked at them today and said "Time to take you home and bring in the spring ones".

So in the bag they go and out to the car we went. And because I took the winter ones home of course Mother Nature decides to laugh at me and say it's not spring just yet... it freaking snows!

Bah.

In general today was weird. I'm a creature of strong routine and habits. I get out of sorts when those routines and habits are disturbed. And the entire day was a series of distruptions.

I'm thinking maybe I should just go to bed and hide from the world. But running away and hiding never really solved anything. Besides, I'm at home now and no one will notice or care if I"m hiding and running away.

And right now Talia is sitting on the video cabinet giving me the 'hungry" stare from MirrorMask. It's rather disconcerting. Maybe I should feed the cats before heading anywhere

I think for Christmas, I'm going to figure out how to dress up an Eeyore Moses, and an Eeyore Pharoh, and you can play Exodus of the Eeyore's into the promised van at every change of season.

Yeah, I think I've just doomed myself into visualizing The Ten Commandments cast entirely by Eeyores.

Whoa.

Thanks for noticing me. Now, if you please, let my people go... if you want. But you don't have to, if it is too much of a bother.

Shouldn't that be let my Eeyores go? :)

When everyone is an Eeyore, then "people" is the right term.

ouch... I blame you all for what will undoubtedly be running through my mind all day today....

"When Eeyore was in 'hundred acre land.... Let my Eeyore go!"..... etc..etc....

I blame you all for this... I really do...
