Name that Garb

It's just over a month to Pennsic.

Ekat needs new garb.

Problem number one: does anyone have a gwazhee coat pattern (or however you spell it) that can make a copy and send to me? I know the basic idea for them but would rather work off a pattern. contact me please.

Problem two... time for everyone's favorite game "what the hell do I make out of this?"



Things to keep in mind:
a)I'm a size 10. Might be an 8 by pennsic but I don't want to risk making something too small.
b) I have curves.
c) I'm 5'3" without shoes. with sneakers add 1/2". With boots add 2"



1. 2.625 yards. Mixed content. I'm pretty sure all synthetics. I'm contemplating a full skirted tunic. It's not quite long enough for a dress unless I put a visable underdress. If I do that... what color?

2. 1.444 yards. cotton/synthetic blend. a over the shoulder's throw?

3. 5 yards. silk wool blend [minus the cat hair] (this one was wal-mart dollar table. couldn't say no to that). I'm thinking maybe a Norman. Maybe a cotehardie/kirdle.

suggestions most happily accepted.

I think they would do well for an over tunic or a hood if you can put the wool next to your face.

For 1 do the long tunic with a blue undertunic. You could go with this linen or they must have a cotton at Joann's in the dark teal color plus coupons just came today.

The second is lovely and would make a lovely hood.

The third would make a great norman!

I got 1 and 2 in the clearance section of Joannes. I might check out one of the other ones here for linen or a cotton in the color of the one on your link. I like that shade of blue.
