Monday, monday

Not much happening today. Got all my monday stuff done fairly quickly here at work.

Not going to be able to get much of anything done tonight. I'm judging more 4-H public presentations tonight. Mom was supposed to do it the Friday we took her to the hospital and then the following Monday. But they had to cancel the Monday one and reschedule it for tonight. It's the least I can do to go and take her place tonight.

I won't be getting home until 9 at the earliest maybe later. I won't be motivated to do much of anything when I get home.

Tomorrow I want to try to locate the title of my car. I'd rather not have to order a new one just so I can sell the stupid thing. But if I must I must.

Started a new book last night that I snagged out of the romance book boxes at home. Not overly impressed, but so far it's not as bad as some of the regency ones I've read lately. I don't know which is worse, mom bought them, mom read them or that I'm reading them now. But it's rather mindless fluff, which is what I need at the moment.

I just got a call from eternalmusings. She talked with the insurance guy's office today and they apparently had done some research and there just MIGHT be a life insurance policy after all.

They think that there might have been a rider on Dad's policy that included her and when he died she paid it off. It won't be enough to cover all of the funeral if it's there but 5/7th of it.

Did the 4-H judging tonight. It wasn't bad. Not that good but not bad.

The only one who had an actual introduction was a girl who did a dramatic presentation on introductions.

It was a little hard going due to the fact that it should have been mom there. And having all the "i'm so sorry" phrase said way too much for my comfort.

One thing I did learn and I am putting it here so that maybe those who help with the house over the next two weekends might help me to remember...

Out in the florida room are a series of posters mom had been working on for a test on clothing construction. If we can find them during the clean out this month it would be good as they were for the textile review coming up in April. I told them we would look but I am not entirely sure where mom put them.

But for now I'm home. Gonna grab a munchie and go to bed. I'm tired. Long day.
