As the icon says "it's F***ing cold out". I am seriously ready for the cold to go away. The to the bone burning cold has to go. I can't even imagine how those who have to work outside deal. As it is I have the thermostat at my apartment set to 72º and the furnace is running non-stop practically cuz it can't get the place warmer than 62º (the down side to living in an end unit that's rather poorly insulated).
Things are progressing though as far as stuff goes for the estate. I got the title to my car in the mail last night. This weekend I will pull it into the garage at the house so I can empty and clean it up so I can take it to the dealer friend next week and get it sold.
Also got all the paperwork to name me executor last night. Therefore I can go to the bank and get what money is in mom's account transfered to another one so I can sit this weekend and write checks on outstanding bills.
Tomorrow I got my work scheduled shifted to noon-9p so I can go tomorrow morning and take care of the bank as well as meet with my financial advisor to try to figure out the annuity stuff so I can get the much needed money to pay for the funeral.
I'm putting in with the office pooling for the mega millions drawing tonight. Would be nice to be one of those offices that wins the big money.
But for now I'm just carrying on status quo

Made some progress today so far.
Called and made arrangements for the TV to be serviced. Now just have to wait for the local shop to call to have final arrangements for pick up/work/etc.
The title of my car arrived yesterday so I have an appointment a week from today to take the van in and put on the market. Must remember to ask the Boo and Boogie if someone can pick me up from work and take me to the house to pick up the new van that day. If Boo has to work maybe I can ask Bob my boss. His best friend used to live across the street from my mother's house so he knows were it is.
Tonight is work on scrolls. I sat down last night and got the calligraphy done for the millrind that was due at Ice Dragon. Note the emphasis on was. Of course this morning I get an email saying they are giving it at Gulf Wars. Figures. I've only had the assignment since October. The day after I finally do the calligraphy they change the date. Too bad. I'm not redoing it, and it's on pergamenta so I"m not just going to trash it and start again. Tonight I was going to try to get into my coat closet and see if my sheet frisket is still in there along with my red acrylic paint so I can do the faux chop illumination. Otherwise I was going to work on the illumination for the scrolls for the Pent participants.
That's the plan anyway as it stands. I'm actually feeling really good about the progress that's happening. Hopefully tomorrow will be even more progressive with the bank dealings and the FA meeting.
Working some this afternoon on The Huntress's 12th night gift. I'm so far behind on it. I have to remember to take it into the house this weekend so I can work on it while we relax at night after a hard day of cleaning.
