Weekend wrapup
Nov. 24th, 2007 05:55 pmThe drive down, while long, was uneventful. Little Butt was wonderful. He only whine a couple times and even then it was kinda half hearted.
Of course he instantly charmed my sister and has spent almost all of his time in her lap or following her around.
Thanksgiving itself was low-key. We made gizzies first and the had a nice dinner of turkey, tatters, dressing and veggies. We watched Pride and Prejudice and PCU.
Yesterday sis and I did our traditional Black Friday pilgrimage for Mall and Movie. Different mall this year as we are in a different city. Usually our black friday shopping is to find stuff for mom for xmas. It was a little hard as we had no need to shop for her. Instead we mostly shopped for ourselves. I got a new sweater and a pair of cute pair of short suede blue boots. I did manage to find 12th night for Meirwen and Morguhn.
Our movie this year was Enchanted. GO SEE IT!!!! Loved it. They could have soooo gone wrong but they hit it soooo right.
Grimm survived by himself for 10 hours by himself. If we weren't doing the movie I would have taken him along with us, but I didn't want him in the theater and act up.
Today we went to the theater here in Bethesda. We saw a matinee of "I love you, you're perfect, now change" I really enjoyed the show.
Tomorrow is the trip home. Hopefully the little man will be a good going home as he was coming down.
