Plan for the day

After lunch I'm going to tackle the project I've been putting off... putting away all the christmas stuff. (I procrastinate big time. To the point that I am 7/10th of the way done with the crochet project for Baby Boy Nelson and he's not even scheduled to appear in the world until May)

I know it's January 17th. Way past time. But see... I had to move to take down last year's decorations (for those that don't remember I moved in July). The sign that I had to put it away was Tzar coming out of the living room carrying one of the ornaments off the tree.

But I'm going to tackle the putting away like I did the putting up.. one box at a time. Bring one box up out of the basement, repack it, take it back, bring another box up, and so on until it's done.

Baby steps, and I can do it.

All the christmas decorations in the florida room are packed up. Some of the ones in the family room are as well.

It's a step. A small one but it's a step.

Wierd realization

You know your cats are big and your dog is small when the dog chases a cat down the hall and does so by running UNDER the cat.
