Good weekend
Apr. 22nd, 2008 07:24 amI had a 4 day weekend this past weekend. It felt great.
Friday was devoted to just catching up on doing nothing. It felt wonderful to not HAVE to do a thing, except meet the girls for dinner.
Saturday was shopping and Dicea and me taking Grimm and Darcy to puppy play time. They seemed to have fun playing with Roxie, a terrier mix of some kind who was recovering from hip surgery. Though Roxie's 13 year old male human could die in my opinion. He was 13, with feet too large and the idea that playing with little dogs includes stomping around them to get them to run. The boys were good and would run away and hide behind the legs of the nearest adult human.
Sunday Dicea and I went out to Rochester to visit with friends and family. It was a nice relaxing way to spend a day.
Yesterday was productive. I got the lawn mowed (despite forgetting that I put the mower away with a busted self-propulsion thingy), got the Xmas lights down off the outside of the house, snow blower, lights and a couple other things out of the garage and into the shed. I also went and got Grimm and Darcy all legal with licenses.
Today I have to return to work. Grimm is not happy with this. He has chosen to hide so that he won't need to go into his pen. Silly puppy.
Take care all
