Things that make you smile

On my way home from work I saw something that made me reach for the phone to call the girls.

I was on the expressway behind a BoomBoom Yellow (TM) Aston Martin Convertible, top down, with a Star Wars Imperial Insignia Sticker on the bumper.

I may not have played SWG in many years but I'm still a loyal Imperialist.

9/11

Yes, 7 years ago today the US was reminded that is was not invulnerable.

But rather than dwell on 9-11-2001, let's think about other events that happened on this day.

9-11-2007: The Grimm Nikolai and Mr. Darcy were born. (yes our boys turned one year old today)

9-11-19XX: dheidre was born

Other things happened too.

but you know, I'd rather spend today, giving a thought to those who died 7 years ago, but also focus on the thoughts of those who came into this world on this date.
