The weekend
Oct. 26th, 2008 07:34 pmBusy but somewhat productive weekend.
Saturday:
*Got my car/homeowners insurance paid.
*The girls and I went and picked up a futon for $40 (it was on a buffalo classified elist and since I needed a mattress and they needed a frame we figured $40 was a good deal)
*Went and had breakfast at the "psychic wait-staff" restaurant where this time they decided I didn't want soup with my lunch. They were right.
*Went shopping and got stuff for all the four-leggeds, wandered around Office Depot and Linens 'n' Things (LnT is going out of business). Though even with the going out of business sale I still couldn't afford an electric blanket for my bed.
*After shopping we went back to the Girls' house where Dicea slept off a pain attack and Boogie introduced me to playing WoW. I leveled up to 7 before dinner.
Dicea made us a yummy dinner and we watched a movie then I went home.
Sunday:
*Actually went back into CoH and CoV for a few hours this morning to go trick or treating. I started a new toon on Virtue's CoH but I gave up on her because of the stupid zombie attacks. she's only level 2 so she kept getting munched by the zombies. So I went and logged into Guardian and played my CoV necromancer for a bit.
*Got plastic up on my bedroom windows and all three bathrooms windows. I am not going to put up the plastic on the living room until I'm ready to put up the christmas lights. Will get the plastic up on the florida room and kitchen sometime soon.
*Did not actually get to work on the scrolls due this coming weekend. Need to figure out the wording so I can get them calligraphed so hopefully Handsome Knight (tm) can take the scrolls to the event.
Grimm has been snuggly today and this evening has been tough due to a nasty thunderstorm rolling through. He's trying to be brave but not succeeding.
Do not particularly want to go to work tomorrow. but then, who does?
