I got home today and the weather was 45ºf out with no snow on the ground. So I decided it was now or never. (Given how the weather for the rest the next however is cold and wet and rainy and snowy)

I tramped out to the shed and pulled out the bins of outside decorations.

I've opted for minimal this year. Mostly because I was not going to unearth the ladder and hang lights on the gutters in the dark.

I also decided this year the colored lights go inside the house and the white lights go outside. So strand of white lights on the wrought iron rail of the front porch, white net lights on the two bushes in the landscaping in the front and the two white light deer in the middle of the lawn. The animation part of the animated deer aren't working. Oh well.

I did put some color across the front of the porch with a lighted bow decoration but that's it.

Now I can start working on bringing up the stuff out of the basement. But not tonight.

At work I worked on Eid cards so tonight I might start working on my personal holiday cards. Or I might just curl up and spend happy cuddly time with the puppy.
