Now that work's holiday cards are in the mail and boss is in Dallas, I'm taking a sick day. This cold is just getting too much and I just need a day to rest, push fluids and fight back.

In theory they are coming today as well to fix the garage door. I don't need to be here for them to fix it, but the cold gives me a good enough excuse to do so.

On a side note, two of my little dragons are sick. My pink hatchling and my new egg. I'm not really sure why or how to fix them so at some point I will read the forums on the egg site to see. But the other three are strong.

Good thing I stayed home. Garage door guy came.. he's now installing the door. But he totally missed the part of the work order for a new opener. He is going to have to come back later with it.

I was like "No I am paying for a new opener, not to reuse the trashed one".

So while I got a "you've been sick a lot lately" email from my sorta supervisor (which is true and I can't argue it), I'll deal with it for having been here to point out the opener issue to the installer.
