I have surrendered
Jan. 7th, 2009 07:28 pmI just am not going to get the dress done. Ain't happening. But I am not going to wallow in self pity. I've had the fabric since just after Harvest Raids, so we are talking October. I've known that 12th Night is always in January. I had plenty of time. But emotionally I'm not ready to finish that outfit.
while the hood is done, I don't know if I will even bring that to the event or just dig out old garb. I do have my elevation outfit which would certainly be suitable for both 12th Night and the request for bright clothes, and a certain Duchess did not get to see the outfit at Pennsic. I'm not sure what I did with the hat for the outfit or right now where the underdress is. BUT... I have all tomorrow night to look for it. and wills tart tonight.
Or I will find another set of garb.
it's all good, and the Boss would not want me stressing about it. So I won't. Instead I choose to take care of my mental health rather than a perceived concept.
Yes, she can be taught.
