(no subject)

I did my civic duty today and went down and talked with the Detective in charge of the case. Gave my disposition.

On my way home I stopped and got a new switch for the stairwell as the one at the bottom of the stairs died. I got home, turned off power and changed the switch. Still no light. Now thinking it might be a short in the line. That means something more than just a 49 cent switch and 3 minutes of my time. It probably means calling someone in.

Grumble.

3 Ravens

I'm teaching at three Ravens this weekend.

My class is at 11am. I'm teaching "I just got an assignment, now what?" Which is looking at how to approach a scribal assignment, searching for inspiration and the like. I'm going to roll in a little of my "at a loss for words" class as I originally had been told that I would be teaching both but then found out I would only be teaching one when the schedule came out.

I just have to print out my handouts then go get them copied. (hard to borrow the machine at work when you can't get into the office)

I just hope that people actually show up for my class.

(no subject)

I tried to go to bed 3 hours ago. Yes it's only 11:18pm but being sick i've been trying to take it easy, go to bed early and relax.

Today I did go up and tried to relax. but I'm at that stage of sick where I'm just well enough to be restless.

And on top of it, I've been watching Anthony Bordain No Reservations. He just did a tour of New York and I'm now starving for good crispy pork and real deli sandwiches and stuff. And the closest I have to anything is either some left over roast beef on white bread or a turkey cheddar brat. yeah that is so not what I'm craving.
