May 24 = Weaselmas Zoo Day
May. 24th, 2009 08:19 pmFor her birthday I got Dicea and I renewal of our Zoo membership. This means we are once again official zoo bitches. Now we can go as much as we want.
Today was "Bear Appreciation day". I was not impressed with the activities this year. Last time I went to bear appreciation day, they had a "See how Grizzly proof a grizzly-proof camping container is" where they put fish in two different grizzly-proof containers and gave them to the grizzly bear. They each lasted about 5 minutes. This year it was all "give them ice. Give them a watermelon, listen to some girl who just read the notes 5 minutes before give a presentation".
But we also saw the new South America Rain Forest building. I liked it a lot.
