We are on site, safe and sound and mostly dry. I am posting from a laptop at Public Safety Point. Luckily I chcked in Saturday afternoon as I learned that my Sunday shift was Saturday into Sunday rather than Sunday into Saturday.
Despite a few snafus we are set up.
AFter sleep we do a town run to get things we need then Dicea has to head home for work and puppies and stuff.
It's now about 5:30 and I can tell that morning is coming as the birds are starting. Soon camp will start to stir and the smell of breakfast will fill the air. This time of the night is exactly why I love working the midnight shift. There is something magical about watching the mist rise off the battlefield and watching our world just come to life.
Until later.
