1. What drew you to the SCA? Well, initially a boyfriend. After that, I found my family of choice. People who I loved and love me, who accepted me for me and offered the welcoming, encouraging world I needed.

2. What makes you happiest in your day job? I really like almost all the people I work with. The actual work goes from "eh" to "OMG STRESS!!!" but it's the people that are worth it.

3. Where would you go if you could travel anywhere? I still want to see San Falle, Italy. It's the town my family came from. I'd love to travel to Australia and Ireland. I would also love to go back to Charleston, SC again.

4. What books could you read over and over and never get bored? Shogun. I read it at least once a year. Lately I"m more into audio books because I can do things while being told a story. I"m on my umpteenth listening of the Dresden Series. Oh, and I still love my favorite childhood book - One fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish.

5. What's your current musical obsession? When I listen to music, lately I've been cycling to Rock Sugar (if you have never heard of them look them up on Youtube), Lady Gaga, Pink,the Irish Rovers and the soundtrack to the London cast of Jekyll and Hyde..

6. If you were a mixed drink, which would you be? I have to go with the one I usually drink when I go out - a Godmother. It's simple, unexpected, sparkly and nutty but in an understated kind of way. It's just amaretto and ginger ale.

7. Puppies or kitties, and why? I have both. And I love both. I like cats for the (most of the time) quiet companionship they give. It's always on their terms but it's still there. I like pups for the absolute unconditional love and laughter I find from and around them. There is just nothing wrong with coming home after a hard day and being greeted by a little bundle of squirming love that doesn't know if he should kiss you or piddle because he's just so excited to see you.

Lovely TDI visit. Miss Rosina kept asking Grimmy "why you no make Mommy dinner. You home all day while she work?" When we visited Miss Lorraine, he curled up in her lap and tried to fall asleep.
