I will be the first to fully admit that I have not been to the gym AT ALL this week.

First it was mother nature and me not wanting to do more than curl up and snuggle under my blanket fort with a Chihuahua and a hot water bottle.

Then just as I was feeling up to maybe going, I got out of bed one morning only to bring my full weight down and step on the knobby end of one of Grimmy rawhide bones. I have a silver dollar sized black and blue bruise on the arch of my right food and walking up until this morning HURT.

So I've been trying to be good about the calorie intake.

Anyway, today is Good Friday and my one department usually goes out for a fish fry on this day. But since all of us are in the weight loss challenge I suggested sushi instead. It was a well received idea and we went. Is it low calorie, not as much as some meals, but certainly LOADS better than a traditional Buffalonian fish fry.

It was nice to get out with the department thought. It has been tough this past week as we regroup and try to figure out how to get everything done with 1/4 less people than we used to have.

We are moving forward professionally and downward weight-wise.

We do what we must because we can.
