calling the vet today
May. 8th, 2015 11:58 amGrimmy has not been acting his normal self these last couple days.
While eating, he's not eating much. He doesn't want to play or snuggle or even sit with me. With the nice weather I've had the front door open and usually that means he's on his cushions watching the world the entire time. He's not gone to sit on them once.
He seems to only want to be in quiet rooms and more or less left alone. If I come and check on him, he rolls over and asks for belly rubs but that's about it. He's sleeping in the family room at night rather than coming to bed.
I haven't noticed a fever, and like I said, he's eating and drinking, but he's just not being himself.
I gave him a couple days to see if it was just a change of season thing, but It's been 4.5 days. I'll call the vet today and see if I can get him in tomorrow.
UPDATE: I'm taking a late lunch today as the only appointment I could get was today at 2. The vet is booked solid tomorrow.
