My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I have been a "sporadic" fan of the web-blog Hyperbole and a Half for a couple years but have not followed it hardcore in anyway. That being said, I knew this book had come out the year it was published and right away put it on my TBR list, but somehow never got around to it.
I'm glad a reading challenge got me to finally go and get it. It was funny and relatable and at times touched a little too close to home when describing depression, social anxiety and personal interactions.
But it's hard not too laugh at the stories of her home being invaded by a goose, her "Dear Dog" letter, and just general reflections of being a child.
I will recommend this book to others and perhaps remember to check out the blog on a more regular basis.
