Children of Virtue and Vengeance by Tomi AdeyemiMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
Magic has returned to the lands of Orisha - much to the displeasure of the Monarchy. Unfortunately for those that brought it back, the Monarchy just steps up its attacks and measures to wipe out any who can use it (even those members of the Royal family that now are magic workers).
I was very much looking forward to book #2's release and it did not disappoint. And again Bahni Turpin's reading was just amazing. I kept wanting to return to this audiobook, even when circumstances made it difficult. If you read the first book, and liked it, I see no reason why this book would not rank just as high. The only complaint... %*!@$ cliffhanger ending.
