Several strange deaths all happening in a short span of time, a stolen book of magic, a building built over an old forgotten river in London that somehow is channeling magical energy... just another day in the life of PC Peter Grant... or is it?

I finished this audiobook about 4 hours ago and honestly cannot say what the main point of the story was. I can tell you bits and pieces, but the overall issue/premise/plot... nope.

The writing was still good and the narration was amazing, I just am finding this installment a bit forgettable. Hopefully the next is better as I do intend to continue with the series.
