Twin siblings Adrian and Zoe Kimrean are so completely different in many ways. Adrian is the methodical, calculating, analytical one. Zoey is the fun-loving, risk taking, impulsive one. He likes order. She lives for danger and the thrill. This is all not surprising for siblings - even twins. Except they are not your typical fraternal twins... they are conjoined. Chimeric twins to be exact. Both inhabiting the same body - though half belongs and is controlled by Adrian and the other half by Zoe.
Despite their unique circumstances, they have worked together and now are private investigators in San Francisco.
Then one day, their office door opens and in walks the case of all cases... just like in any cheesy pulp fiction noir book/movie ever written. The Kimreans get asked to help the police investigate who is killing the adult children of the area's biggest crime boss and help to get their man inside out. It will take all their skill... as well as high speed driving and drugs and alcohol to solve the case without getting killed or committed.
+++++
This was a fun, at times hysterical spoof on detective noir. And it's read by one of my favorite audiobook narrators - January LaVoy. If you want a wild funny ride... pick up this book.
