After the turbulent events of her first year at Yale, Alex is still focused on finding and rescuing her mentor.
However, that may prove difficult since he's trapped in Hell. But she's found a way and she needs help. Unfortunately things do not go as planned and she finds herself in even more danger when the first attempt to rescue him actually unleashes the forces of the underworld on New Haven, and more specifically her and her friends.
Now she needs to do what she can to close the door to hell, while rescuing her mentor and perhaps survive her classes as well.
+++++
This book started slow but soon I was engrossed in the story, just as I was in book 1. The author has a great way of building tension and making the reader feel the terror and anticipation of the moment.
I look forward to more.
