Rosalind is the daughter of a minor baronet. One day he takes off with her younger sister, leaving her and her mother to cope with the fact that he left unpaid bills and mountains of debt to other members of High Society. After her mother passes, Rosalind finds a way to survive in the world she's lived in - offering her services to the Ladies of the Society to organize soirees, getting their daughters invited to all the best parties and any other way to help them be part of the IT crowd.
Then one day, while waiting for her Godmother and Grande Damme of the Society Ladies at her club, Rosalind discovers the body of the son of one of her clients. Now she must find a way to discover who killed him, navigate Society without being scandalizing and not be suspected for the crime herself.
++++
I really enjoyed this book. When a friend recommended it on FaceBook, I instantly added it to my TBr list. I love a good cozy mystery AND the Regency Era. This book combined the two very nicely. There is sexual tension between Rosalind and her ex, but it's not THE focus of the story.
I will certainly be reading more in this series.
