21 year old, Matthew Prince lives up to his last name... he's a spoiled, extremely wealthy socialite who only focuses on his social standing and having fun. Son of a prominent attorney and a world famous author, he's never had to work for anything.
But finally his absurd lifestyle catches up with him and his parents finally say "enough". They cut him off from his bank accounts, social media and ship him off to spend the winter holidays with his grandparents in a small town in he Berkshires. He thinks he's going to die of boredom due to the fact that there are no night clubs, no one who has a clue about hot and trendy, there's not even a starbucks to get half-way decent coffee.
Add to that he has to share a room with his grandparents' tenant, Hector - a hot Senior at the local college.
How is he supposed to deal with with everything and get his parents to let him back into the real world?

I had higher hopes for this book. But even with the character growth arc, I just could not stand Matthew. It was hard to see the story over the self-absorbed prima dona. Because of that, it took me 3.5 months to power through the book hoping to find a redeeming quality of the character.
