I'm ready for this stupid cold to be over. Seriously.

I'm not sneezing anymore, which is a good thing. I'm almost out of kleenex. The coughing hasn't gotten better or worse. Still the tight chested unproductive stuff. I'm headachey, joint-achey and grumpy. Low grade fever that's just enough to be noticible and annoying without being debilitating. And my chest hurts. Right in the middle. A dull hurt. Not an ache actual hurt. like a dull metal object is being scraped along the backside of my sternum.

It's 73ºF out and I'm wearing a sweatshirt because I can't get warm. I'm drinking so much tea and juice that I have to pee every 10 minutes (or so it feels).

I want nothing more than to go home and go to bed. But that is not an option. So instead I choose to annoy my friends and readers by complaining how horrid I feel.

And, of course, since I feel like this and not able to focuse and think straight for very long, they want to teach me something new today to add to my list of responsibilities. Oh goodie.

Joy.

Is it 4:30 yet?

Amelia aka Jan aka Dylan's wife always recommends Mucinex for a cold. You can get it in a drugstore now, over the counter. It's really miraculous, especially for anything that has you stuffed up. Hope you feel better.

I'll second the Mucinex.

Also, for the grumpy feeling that goes with a cold--try Gatorade. It'll restore needed electrolytes.

We would be 3rd and 4th on the Mucicin. Love it. Its a horse pill but damn does it work wonders and I'm prone to chest colds, as you well know.

Just think about the puppies!!!!!

I'm not sure it is a cold any longer. If it hasn't been a week, stick it out. Once it has been, go the doctor. These things settle in your chest and have the kind of fun you'd prefer they not have.
