baronessekatSo Tzar came and curled up with me and I started really scritching his belly and chest. And I found four nice sized hair matts under each "armpit" So I pulled out the comb and scissors and removed as much as I could But there is still some there.
He was not pleased. He nipped at me but never broke skin with his teeth. However, my chest is scratched to the sevel hells and I can't find my benedryl stick anywhere. So I'm all puffy around the scratches (which did break the skin)
I'm soooo not happy. Not only am I all marked up but he's still not completely snarl free. The downside to a long haired cat. If I thought for a moment I could do it without getting evicerated, I'd shave his belly. I know he'd feel cooler for it.
