baronessekatOK, so it didn't rain today but it is Monday. I started this post writing it out longhand on a legal pad at work because all my dear readers know that I can't post at work anymore.

1-9. Ugh. I really hate this shift. Oh I like the sleeping in (even if that means I'm waking up at 8:30 am. That beats the 5:30 am normally done on a work day) and having a liesurely morning before having to start my work day. But this coming in 4-5 hours after everyone else is rough. Only because they have had 4-5 hours to find stuff that I need to do and pile it on my desk rather than giving it to me spaced throughout the day.
So I spent my first 4 hours calling, faxing, fixing and other stuff which meant I never actually got to deal with any files that needed taking care of.
Now tonight I get to just sit and watch Amanda The Wondertwit work. Even after two weeks of training and step-by-step guide with screen caps she is still doing things wrong and not listening. So my boss told me to sit with her today and watch her and once again go over things. I'm bored beyond belief watching her type a 3 paragraph legal description. She's been typing it for 20 minutes now. SAVE ME!
On the things I got done list... only one. Made an appointment to get my nails done. Wednesday my technician is soooooo going to scold me. I went for almost 5 weeks getting them done and ended up having to remove them myself because they were falling off or breaking on me.
Opps... she's getting nervous about me writing while she's working so I had better stop and watch her.

I'm now home and trying to relax. I'm looking through my mail from today and see a reminder that my car registration is expiring in August. That can wait a pay check or two. However... I get a note from the SCA saying that they lost me and my membership expired. My question... how come they could find me to tell me that my membership was expired but couldn't find me to tell me it was expiring? I can't afford to renew right now. Next paycheck.
Lightbulb just blew out in the kitchen. Luckily there is another one there but the room is kinda dim now.
I think I'll make some spaghetti o's and then go to bed. Normal hours tomorrow. Hooray for small things huh?
