I had to impose a new rule at work

The "boys" are not allowed to refer to any music from the 1980's as "retro".

I realized I had finished college before several of them even left elementary school but still...

I absolutely refuse to be old enough to have the music I listened to in High School referred to as "retro" or "oldies"

I let my brother get away with calling the Rolling Stones "geezer rock", but only because most of the original band are still playing and we're both fans.

I listen to the classics: Classic rock, classic Baroque, and classic Renaissance :)

I actually heard one of them just say "I hate Hannah Montana"

I kid you not, they are right now discussing who is the "next Tara Reid" Hillary Duff, Miley Cirus or Katie Holmes.

This is the high intellectual conversation going on in my office this friday afternoon.
