Ekat went a gardening

So since I moved back into the Doma I have been saying that I wanted to try having a small vegetable garden. It's been on my annual resolutions to-do list as well.
I have attempted it. We shall see how it goes.

yesterday
dicea and I lifted the section of fencing that had fallen down last year (and I left down just to make the garden area) and broke up the clay under it.

I got a raised garden bed kit at Home Depot and put it together (super easy!) and while it would have been cheaper to get the wood and make one, I would not have made one as nice or been as aggravation free if I had done it myself.

8 bags of top soil filled it up nicely. I mixed some miracle grow in the soil as I spread it.

4 tomato plants, 1 eggplant, 1 cucumber, a row of carrots, some of my bean and sugar pea sproutings.
Now to keep them alive. Later when I clean the cat boxes I will spread the used litter around the box to keep the hordes of rabbits away from my babies.
My topsy turvy tomato is not doing so hot (I think it's the plant itself not the topsey turvey. But the sage I put in the herb part of it is doing really well.
