Today all I want to do is curl up under an electric blanket (closest thing to a whole body heating pad), watch TV, read and be grumpy.
I woke up this morning with almost every major joint in my body HURTING. Not the usual ache but actual pain. My hips are so bad that I cannot find a comfortable position. Sitting hurts, standing hurts, slouching in the chair eases the hips but then makes the aches in the shoulders worse.
Already taking OTC pain stuff. Had originally planned on doing the gym on my lunch. At this point, if I go to the gym at all today, it will be after work to just sit in the hot tub.
I'm really hoping that this is all just a symptom of the weather being wierd (which it is) and my body getting used to new moves that the trainer has had me doing, rather than being indicative of something worse. People around here are sniffling and sneezing and coughing. Yesterday was flu shot clinic day at the office and I hope it's all just their bodies reacting and not actually coming down with said flu. I can't get sick. I have no sick time at work until August and my 1 year anniversary.
It's just been a while since I've had to deal with this much full body hurt. I know I have friends who deal with it every day, and I can't imagine how they do it.
