Why are we here.

It's 9:10am I've been here at work for over an hour now.
It's Martin Luther King, JR day, which means banks are closed, our clients are closed and part of the office took off for the floating holiday.
On top of that the database we use to do any of our work has been down, apparently all weekend, with no ETA for when it will be up. Our faxes are going down today for a scheduled maintainence and there is rumor our phones will be going down.
So I ask... why are we even here today?
Anyway,
Here are the answers to last week's movie quote challenge.
1. In the year of Our Lord, Judea, for nearly a century, had lain under the mastery of Rome Ben-Hur
2. Is everything ready? Clue
3. Army Rangers have a proud history. Con Air
4. You’re leaving? But I thought you and I were forever. Cutthroat Island
5. Your Highness, please allow me to make this little contribution. Dirty Rotten Scoundrels
6. The brothers Grim Your Majesty. Ever After
7. I’m here to see Rod McCain, I’m Willa Weston. Fierce Creatures
8. Mr. Broghan, I assume you called in regard to the mortgage payment on Castle Plunket, unfortunately still delayed by what seems to be our endless postal strike. High Spirits
9. So you want me to tell you the story of my life Interview with the Vampire
10. Goddamn bugs. Men In Black
11. 46-99402 Sneakers
12. Henslowe, do you know what happens to a man who doesn’t pay his debts? Shakespeare in Love
13. Ghost Rider this is Strike, we have unknown aircraft, inbound mustang. Top Gun
14. Character 1: Honey I’m home.
Character 2: Roger that, got you at the boathouse. True Lies
15. Is it a girl? Willow
I was impressed that most were actually answered. Hopefully sometime this week I will have the next installment.
If I don't die of boredom here at work first.
