The rambling thoughts

me: I don't want to go to the gym today.

Subconscious: but you didn't go yesterday so you should go today.

Me: I went for a 2 mile walk with the dog, that counts.

SC: but you do 3+ when you go to the gym

Me: It's wet and gross out. Not even the ducks and geese are particularly happy out there.

Sc: Gym is indoors.

Me: All I want to do is get the gas I need for the car and go home and nap.

SC: closest gas station to work is the one that's 1/2 a block from the gym

me: but Captain Æthelmearc says the road the gym is actually on is all torn up with construction

SC: if you go to the gym and either treadmill or swim you can have the cookie you've been craving all day.

me: I'm a grown up damnit and if I want a cookie I can have a cookie.

sc: that kind of thinking is what helped you put on 30 pounds over the winter.

me: bite me

sc: *starts singing "I like Big Butts"*

me: I'm ignoring you.

SC: *segues into "Fat Bottom Girls"*

me: *sighs*
