Progress Updates:
Mar. 13th, 2006 10:51 amSaturday:
I got my dress done to the point I can without help. Well I can mark buttonholes but I want to go use my mother's sewing machine to do them. She has programable buttonhole ability on her machine and that makes things so much easier. Just need to fit and hem.
One scroll has the calligraphy done. Just need to do the very small bit of illumination.
Sunday:
dicea and I did an extra lap in our mall walk. She was in pain and I'm sorry I pushed for the extra lap. I did offer to have her sit at the food court and rest while I did another lap but she wanted along.
We went to a Sabres game with
eternalmusings. Game was a blast. Sabres won. Go team. Ate lots of junk. Well nachos, hot dog and fully sugared soda. But that's what flex points are for.
The walk back to the van through the rain and fog did not help my already icky lungs.
Today:
As such I'm home today trying to convince my lungs to continue with the whole in... out... in.. out pattern.
I plan to finish the scroll that just needs the illumination and start on the millrind.
One observation I have everytime I work on a scroll... calligraphy and acrylic nails make for interesting marks and pains on the palm (I can't figure out how to hold the pen otherwise to be able to control it and do calligraphy without basically embedding the nails into my palm.
Gonna go try to find some lunch then sit down and work on scrolls.
