Saturday and Ice Dragon

Just got home from the event. Saw lots of people. blaecstan, deadised, hundmather, much_ado, theboomboom, unadesaintluc, visrose, wyz_azz (duh she's the queen) and others who I don't have their lj names (if they have them). I was told damedini was there but didn't see her.

It was nice getting to see people, and thank you all for the ego boost about how good I look after the weight loss. It means a lot. Even people who didn't know I had been losing asked if I had and told me I was looking good.

The dress got done, but even still needs a better fitting as it was loose. Got the special assignment scroll done (It was the one Mistress Elisabeth got naming her Master Tailor to the Royal Court). Got the Millrind done though it didn't go out because the recipient wasn't there.

I even made it to a millrind meeting *gasp*. Agreed to be nominated for the position of clerk of the order. Elections will be in may at War Practice. Guess I gotta now get off my duff and renew my membership. And think about at least day tripping War Practice.

I also need to remember to post the pictures here of the coronet style I'm eventually wanting to get. kdcooper asked about it. When I have money I'll officially commission it.

Now it's time for a big drink of water, some protein, feed the cats and crawl into bed and sack out. Got walkies tomorrow with dicea and then who knows. Now that the event's over I can spend next weekend finding my house under all the clutter.
