That Time I Got Drunk and Saved a Demon by Kimberly LemmingMy rating: 3 of 5 stars
Every 15 years, the Goddess calls for heroes from across the realm to come and fight back the demons trying to enter the world.
Cinnamon, Cin, is grateful that she's not called and celebrates by getting drunk one night. While stumbling home, she ends up rescuing a demon. After escaping him once he's free, she goes home and wakes hoping it was all an alcohol induced dream.
It's not, as she learns when he shows up at her home and explains that the Goddess is not what she or any of the humans of her village think.
Now she must fight her growing lust for the demon and overcome prejudices to save herself and her world.

I try not to read the reviews so I can go into a book fairly unbiased. I kinda wish I had this time. I had thought, based on the description that this would be a fun, rom-com fantasy adventure. Which is was. However, I was not expecting the level of smut in the book. (don't get me wrong, I love me a good bit of smut). So in the end, I wanted either more or less. I honestly would have been perfectly OK with there not being the graphic "happy fun time" scenes and left it to the imagination. The scenes that were there felt forced and rather eh.
I most likely will not be looking for others in this series, and probably will not read any other books by this author.
