working out

Last night I tried the 3 mile walk away the pounds DVD. By the end I was ready to drop. Maybe I shouldn't do it so late in the day.
But today I tried the new one I picked up last night which is "walk and kick" which incorporates all the walk away the pounds stuff (minus the use of hand weights) and basic kickboxing moves.
I liked the walk and kick a lot better. I had fun and actually broke a sweat.
I'm going to continue to occassionally visit the 3 mile one once I get my endurance up more. But for the walking workouts I'm going to do the one mile in the mornings (I like it and it helps wake me up) and either the two mile or the walk and kick in the evenings.
While at walmart yesterday they had this huge bin of DVDs for a dollar each. I found a set of three that are aerobic dance work outs. I'm going to watch them tonight before I try them. But I figured $3 was worth it to try something new and add variety.
I never thought I'd be one to say that I'm enjoying the work outs. And I have noticed the scale creeping lower.

-of interest to me because Labrynth is getting a manga sequal, but apparently there's talk of a Dark Crystal anime and feature movie sequal.
So what's up with not being on AIM? I assume you're just being anti-social, but everything okay?
