Ramblings.

baronessekatLong wierd day at work today. Nothing that stood out, just a general feeling.
I had a small NSV today. (Non-scale victory). It's chilly out and most of my winter clothing no longer fits (in a good way). While rummaging I found a turtleneck that was given to me by a former co-worker before she moved to Hawaii (guess they dont' need such things there in paradise). Now Donna had a very wierd self-body image. She was small and thin. But a year ago when she moved she asked if I was willing to take any of her clothes that she couldn't take with her. I figured sure, I can take them to one of the battered women's shelters. I knew they wouldn't be for me. I mean she was tiny and I was a size 18. She just was convinced that she and I were the same size. Anyway, the turtleneck I pulled out was one of hers and on a whim I tried it on. Damn.. IT FIT. I know this was one of her baggy shirts as it's a medium and she was definately a small. BUT... it fit. And the size 12 jeans and L belt I bought a couple weeks ago are getting rather big as well. Wheeee. Definatley going to need to take lots of garb in and make new garb for War.
I'm not sure about tomorrow's weigh in. Mostly because I just weighed in on Saturday so I haven't had a full week. But I'm still going to go and weigh in so that I get back on schedule. I'm thinking of next paycheck trying the core plan. Mostly because fruits are free and damn if the watermelon and strawberries ain't looking good right now. Sweet corn is also hitting the stores. We shall see.
Boo and Boogie come home tomorrow. YAY! I still have two DVD's I borrowed from their house while checking on the cats. I promise I'll get them back to you eventually. I need to watch them yet. Boo said she didn't get a specially made cake as they had cake already. Maybe this weekend I'll make her cupcakes or cakemix cookies. Deliver them when I deliver her birthday prezzies.
