OK maybe not that weird.
But Boo and I survived one of the worst customer service experiences of my life to have my hair cut today.
I check into the place at about 10 minutes before my appointment. I'm a first time client there too. They say the girl is just finishing up and it will only be a moment.
Over the course of the next (felt like an hour sure was more like 20 minutes) I get asked three times what my name is and what I'm in for ( like it's a prison sentence or something).
Eventually a girl comes and takes me for the shampoo. Then I get placed in a chair and the same girl brushes it out.
I get moved to the stylists chair where she takes all of 3 seconds to ask what I'm there for, no real time to see what my hair is like wet, let along having found out what it's like dry, no time to ask what my normal hair routine is, no asking what I do for a living or anything that I would expect to be asked by someone who's never cut my hair before.
Cut, cut, cut... she talks with other people. Never says much of anything to me. One of her regulars comes in and she moves me over to another chair so someone else can blow dry me. Once she's done with her regular client I get moved back to her chair and she "finishes" it off.
I was not at all happy with this place. And for what we paid, I expected better service.
I still have the length, but have layers now. Boo says I look my age now rather than 10 years younger.
I'm not sure I like it. I'll wash it and let it dry on it's own to see how I feel about it. But I certainly am not going back to that salon again.
